My eye exam in Carlsbad

I arrived on time for my eye exam and encountered a helpful, professional staff.
After filling out the forms for a new patient, Dr. Davis examined my eyes and found them to be very tough. I don't have a lot of sensitivity to light in the sense that my eyes are not easily irritated by light. I realized right there that maybe I had been not sensitive enough to my son who has complained at different times about the effect bright sunlight has on his eyes.

Dr. Davis was friendly, gently humorous, informative and quite experienced. I was impressed by how he answered lots of questions without hesitation during the eye exam. It was clear that he has a vast body of knowledge about eyes. Not all tests are conducted by Dr. Davis and he turned me over to a capable assistant for some testing.

Their technology is quite impressive. I really felt like I was in a space/information age testing facility. No drops in my eyes. It seemed really cutting edge to me, with old fashioned customer service and friendliness.

I should mention that prior to the exam, I was invited to look elsewhere for frames or look at the collection of frames Drs. Daniels and Davis Optometry had in stock. No pressure. I eventually decided to buy my glasses with them.

Google search started a journey with eye exam Carlsbad

I found an incredibly talented optometrist's office by searching Google in early January. My previous optometrist seemed too far away for me and I decided to look in North County. Ironically, I found Drs. Daniel and Davis Optometry who have patients that come from other states because of the talent they find in Carlsbad and their other offices.

You can follow the same path I did by searching "eye exam Carlsbad" through Google and their website comes up first [and second] or you can click on the title of this post and you'll arrive at the same place.

I have found a treasure trove of talent and experience at Drs. Daniel and Davis Optometry. From the first phone call, their office was helping me. I believe I spoke with Jackie and she checked to see if it was possible to squeeze me in to part of someone's lunch time. I think we all need a break for lunch and that's what happened that day. I was able to get an appointment for a couple days later. Meanwhile, they recommended a great place to get eyeglasses repaired called Hot Shots in Carlsbad. It had been almost 8 years since my last eye exam, so I knew I wanted to get my eyes checked, too.
